Welcome to the Wheels On Reels Online Media Center where information on the inaugural Wheels On Reels Film Festival, October 23 & 24, 2009 can easily be accessed. Listed below are press announcements, general information, as well as a downloadable application for press credentials. Please note that the deadline to apply for press credentials is October 2, 2009.


Holiday Inn Palm Springs City Center will serve as the host location for members of the media covering the Wheels On Reels Film Festival. Press credentials will be available for pick-up in the lobby of the Holiday Inn Palm Springs City Center from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon on Friday, October 23, 2009. Beginning at 9:00 a.m., a Press Breakfast will be served poolside at the Holiday Inn Palm Springs City Center for members of the media that have received their press credentials. An overview of the films that will be screened at the Festival will be presented at the Breakfast, so please make every effort to attend. It is advised that you R.S.V.P. for the Press Breakfast in advance by calling Wheels On Reels at (760) 213-6826.

The Holiday Inn Palm Springs City Center is extending a special discounted room rate for members of the media covering the Wheels On Reels Film Festival. A discounted rate of $99 is available to members of the media covering Wheels On Reels, however, reservations must be made prior to September 1, 2009. The Holiday Inn Palm Springs City Center has been very gracious to extend this special room rate of $99 for two days in advance of the Festival, in addition to the two days following.
